Look who I found today!! ✨🐿✨ As I walked by this squirrel I was struck by the focus, agility and awareness that this squirrel maintained as it balances haphazardly on a skinny branch to eat. All this was happening while humans walk by, cars passing, dogs barking and me getting a little too close. LOL Squirrel still maintains its Presence and space. What a brilliant teaching squirrel demo-ed for us right now as the busy holiday hype and to do’s amp up. ⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨ Can we too remember what’s truly important during this stressful time? Self Care (eating properly, drinking enough and getting enough sleep), staying balanced and focused on the Light and Joy of this Celebration Of The Light. Not letting the stress and flurry of others or our environment around us effect our wellBeing. It’s ok to stop and pause, ground for a reset and to breath to get back to Your Truth and center. Staying in your center allows this season to be more fulfilling, joyful and meaningful. I never thought I would fast! I LOVE food and was in the restaurant industry for many years, working at some of the best restaurants in the world.🥦🥧🥬🥖🥐🥩🍕🥗🍰 However when one of my Spiritual teachers asked if I had ever fasted, I was surprised at my reaction of, “NO, that’s not for me!” SO being inquisitive and knowing that if I have resistance to anything I must look at this closer and see why that is, I knew that there was something there for me!🤓 At that same time one of my social media friends @breath.of.bliss happened to post about this book that she was reading that breaks down fasting and the different ways to fast, by @drjasonfung MD. And so my journey began. It turns out there are many ways to fast and some of them are not as extreme as going for days and days with out food. Intermittent fasting is my favorite as you can stop eating around 7:00 pm and eat your next meal at around 12:00 the next day. This has been life changing and I am noticing so many health benefits such as more energy, clearer skin, better sleep, slight weight loss, glowing and less $$$ and time spent on food prep! LOL Dr Fung says it’s not so much about what you eat but when, and goes into explaining the science of the body and it’s rhythms! 💃🏼🕺🏼 Since I like to experiment on myself before I share anything here and I am noticing such amazing benefits after doing this for two months. I wanted to share! 💪🏼✨⭐️✨ EnJoy and Happy Sunday/Funday! @tommycassano, @francoislevannier started our 24 hour fast at 1:30 today! So we are joining in Spirit and live now!
